Chest lock with inside key
Central Europe, 17th century
Malleable iron. One-third of the lock case is open and decorated with pierced geometric ornamentation. Three-lever bolt system inside. The bow of the key is composed of auricular ornamentation, and the trefoil hollow shank has a ring collar. Filed bit. Case engraved with mascarons and foliated tendrils.
